Broad spectrum instrument-disinfectant/cleanser. Based on glutataldehyde.

Subject: Instrument Disinfection

Instrument Disinfection is still a present-day question, as the use of electrical and optical equipment as well as thermically unstable synthetic materials require other means of decontamination than sterilization by heat. Furthermore, the instruments should be put into disinfectant solutions immediately after use before they are sterilized. There is no doubt that such contaminated parts are potential foci of infection for the medical staff as well as for the patients. Two important factors determine the quality of an instrument disinfection: The spectrum of efficacy and the material compatibility. The effectiveness should cover bacteria (incl. Tb), fungi, viruses (incl. HBV!) and spores.

The product Antiseptica Combi Instruments is based on glutataldehyde, quarternary ammonium compounds and cleansing agents. It is free of formaldehyde. Antiseptica Combi Instruments is the economical, extremely effective type of disinfectant-detergent for instrument decontamination. Antiseprica Combi Instruments is well suited for the disinfection of medical instruments made of glass, porcelain, metal, rubber, plastic material etc.

Use Disinfection and cleansing of instruments

Dilution:

• 4%, i.e. 40 ml in 1 lit. of water
• Efficacy time: 15 min.
• 2%, i.e. 20 ml in 1 lit. of water
• Efficacy time: 1 h

Tests under practical conditions -not suspension test only- according to the procedures of DGHM (German society of hygiene and microbiology, Heldelberg-Mainz-hygiene institutes of universities). Antiseptica Combi Instruments is effective against all types of bacteriy, fungi, viruses, spores.

Surface disinfectant for medical devices according to the medical devis regulation also suitable for other surfaces.

Subject: Surface Disinfection

The antiseptical treatment of surfaces such as floors, walls, furniture, equipment etc. Is understood as surface disinfection.

The aim of this treatment is to kill as far as possible pathogenous germs especially in the environment close to the patient (intensive care untis, operating theatres, emergency departments, etc.).

Direct contact with contaminated surfaces or microorganisms adhering to dust particles may cause infections. Therefore, the interruption of a prospective infection chain at this point is essential. The product Antiseptica Combi Surface is based on glutataldehyde, quarternary ammonium compounds and cleansing agents.
It is free of formaldehyde.

The preparation Dermotan is a microbistatic Liquid Soap based on special skin - compatible surfactants, deodorizing, free from alkali, quats and phenols, whith cosmetic and caring effect.

Range of application:

Descocid is a combination product for the aimed as well as routine disinfection and cleansing of surfaces and floors in all medical functional areas in hospitals, medical and dental practices as well as secondary areas of the humane medicine. Due to its low toxicity this disinfectant is also very well suited for use in the food industry or other industrial production areas.

Ready for use

The preparation Manorapid ready for use is a 70 % - isopropanol based hand disinfectant. Other basic ingredients: 1,3 butandiol, lanolin-poly (oxyethylane). It is also available with 0,5 % chlorhexidine ingredient.

Manorapid ready for use is a most favourable combination of strong microbicidal efficacy and best skin compatibility.

Antiseptic Hand Cleaning Solution

Desinfection of hands is the most essential part of the prevention of infections. Target is to reduce as far as possible the germs prevailing in this area. Spreading of undesirable micro-organisms by contact should be avoeded in any case. Hand desinfectants must destroy thoroughly and quickly gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria as well as cutaneous fungi and viruses. With the "hygienical" hand disinfection (against the "transient" flora) the result should be achieved within 30 to 60 seconds. Beside ready-for-use alcoholic solutions, disinfecting and cleaning products are used.

Range of application: For hand disenfection and cleaning prior to surgery and gereral hospital use. Also for the use in food processing plants, medical, dental practices, etc. The preparation Manorapid Scrub is an antiseptic hand soution bsed on 1-propanol, cetrimide and special detergents. It has a strong dfficacy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as cutaneous fungi and viruses (HBV, HIV). Because of cosmetic additives (alkyl amido propyl betaine, fatty acid alcylol amide) it leaves the hands soft and smooth.

Application: Rub hands with 3 ml for 30 sec., thereafter foam with water for another 30 sec. Then rinse hands.

The product Oxygenon is based on activated oygen and cleansing agents. Oygen is released when the product is dissolved in water.

Alcoholic ready for use skin antiseptic

Range of application:

The preparation Skin-des is a 70%-isopropanol-based skin disinfectant. For preoperative skin treatment and antiseptic skin treatment prior to injections, incisions, punctures, etc. Additional basic ingredient: 0,1 % Butanediol - 1,3. It is available as colourless or coloured type. Skin-des shows a strong microbicidal efficacy.

Precautions:

This product is intended for external use only. Not to be used on mucosa or around the eyes. Keep away from open fire. Electrical equipment should only be used after the disinfected skin proportions have dried well.

Skin des is effective against:

• bacteria (incl. TB)
• Fungi
• Viruses (incl. HBV, HIV, Rota, etc.)

Application:

• Effective with fully wetting of the skin, use generously.
